Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer - Strategic Accounts to drive the technical execution for our most complex, globally significant customers. You will own end-to-end design and pursuit execution of advanced data center, interconnection, and hybrid infrastructure solutions across regions, partnering with Account Executives and Global Solutions Architects.

Qualifications

10+ years in technical pre-sales, infrastructure engineering, or data center architecture in complex environments.
Deep expertise in data center infrastructure, power density, cooling, interconnection, resiliency, and hybrid cloud.
Experience supporting global deployments with multi-region coordination.
Knowledge of AI infrastructure requirements including high-density compute and liquid cooling.

Responsibilities

Serve as trusted technical advisor across the sales lifecycle with AE and Global Solutions Architect.
Lead technical discovery to define requirements for space, power, cooling, density, resiliency, compliance, and interconnection.
Own technical win for regional/global pursuits with design docs, diagrams, and solution walkthroughs.
Align regional designs with global account technical roadmap for consistency across geographies.
Support forecast accuracy and deal progression by articulating scope, risks, and differentiators.
Act as a technical SME to understand business outcomes and advanced infrastructure opportunities.
Collaborate with global technical community to enable superior customer experience.
