Job summary

Equinix is seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Engineer for the Network Service Provider vertical in the Americas Solutions Engineering organization in the United States.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor across a portfolio of NSP accounts, partnering with Account Executives to drive technical discovery, solution development, and customer engagement around Equinix data center and interconnection solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• Strong technical background in data centers, networking, service provider environments, cloud infrastructure, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience leading customer technical discovery and qualification sessions.
• Familiarity with Equinix's global data center footprint and interconnection portfolio.
• Experience supporting solution-selling motions involving recurring revenue and complex enterprise opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively across multiple customer personas, stakeholder groups, and lines of business.
• Strong understanding of how partner ecosystems can be leveraged to drive customer outcomes and business value.

Responsibilities

• Position Equinix's Global Digital Infrastructure across opportunities and customers.
• Lead technical discovery, qualification, solution development, and engagement efforts.
• Translate complex technical concepts into customer-focused solutions and business value.
• Own the technical win strategy and work with Account Executives to drive deals.
• Develop technical account plans and participate in account reviews.
