Job summary

SMC Corporation in East Central Texas is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth across OEM accounts and distributor networks. You will lead the sales cycle, build deep relationships with key decision makers, and translate customer needs into tailored automation solutions.

You will travel regularly within the territory, manage CRM records, develop action plans, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize revenue and win rate.

Responsibilities

• Retains and profitably grows sales through proactive management of medium to large OEM accounts
• Meet or exceed annual growth expectations on a consistent basis
• Presents SMC's capabilities, services and products to customers
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and drive growth
• Lead all aspects of the sales process and coordinate with internal teams
• Own and manage customer relationships and forecast requirements
• Develop and execute detailed customer action plans and ROIs as needed
• Maintain strong relationships with key decision makers within strategic accounts
• Utilize CRM to align customer data regionally and globally
• Collaborate with internal teams to deploy tailored client strategies
• Monitor timelines and milestones to ensure successful deployments
