Job summary

Sustainment in Austin is seeking its first Sales Engineer to serve as the technical partner on every deal, shaping how customers connect with our AI-native platform for supply‑chain needs. You’ll own product mastery, craft demos tailored to real customer scenarios, and maintain a best‑in‑class demo environment.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and the revenue team to drive technical win, feed field insights back into the roadmap, on-site workshops, and a growing GTM motion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Sales Engineering, solutions consulting, or similar technical pre-sales.
• ERP integrations experience, SAP bonus.
• Ability to estimate build effort: API vs flat file, on-prem vs cloud.
• Communicate prospect processes in Sustainment terms.
• Track record of winning the technical decision in complex B2B deals.

Responsibilities

• Own product mastery and be the product expert outside Engineering.
• Create custom demos aligned to prospect needs and experiment with AI.
• Maintain demo environment with Product and Engineering.
• Partner with Customer Delivery to align demo story with buyer journey.
• Lead on-site workshops for buyers, engineers, and IT.
• Lead technical discovery and handle objections through to signature.
