Job summary

Cohesity, Inc. seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales by delivering tailored technical solutions for data security and protection across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will partner with Account Executives, run demos and proofs of concept, translate complex architectures into business value, and advise customers on cyber resilience strategies.

Candidates should have pre-sales experience, data protection know-how, and strong communication; willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales experience in enterprise infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud.
• Hands-on backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies.
• Knowledge of data security concepts: ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, access controls.
• Experience supporting proofs of concept and technical decision processes.
• Ability to translate technical architecture into customer value and business outcomes.
• Experience partnering with Account Executives to support complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and decision making.
• Understanding of enterprise buying processes and deal dynamics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to both business and technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset to manage complex customer situations.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer and expansion opportunities by articulating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio.
• Provide expert, tailored technical support throughout the sales cycle including demos and POCs.
• Support technical strategy for enterprise opportunities in partnership with Account Executives.
• Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into production environments and respond to requests.
• Lead and support technical engagements, such as workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify requirements and risk areas to shape POCs highlighting cyber resilience and data security.
• Assist with competitive displacement by understanding customer environments.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to relay feedback.
