Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Sales Learning & Development professional in Irving, TX to design and deliver strategic programs that boost sales rep productivity and new-hire retention. You will partner with sales leaders to tailor programs across multiple product sets, using ILT and VILT methods to scale impact.

The role requires 4+ years in sales or sales training, cross-functional collaboration, and expertise in instructional design and LMS tools. Beneficial experience in Paychex ecosystems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant sales or sales training experience.
• 4+ years of B2B sales experience.
• 4+ years of Paychex experience as it relates to the position.
• 4+ years of prospecting, pipeline management, networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate sales learning and development programs to drive new hire retention and rep productivity.
• Lead ILT and VILT tasks and report on retention, performance and proficiency to sales leadership.
• Create and maintain high-quality training materials (agendas, lesson plans, coaching decks).
• Coach cohorts to achieving performance goals and address barriers with sales leadership.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Learning Designers, and Content Curators to ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
• Provide field observations and timely feedback to leadership on process execution and development opportunities.
