Job summary

Paychex is seeking a seasoned Training and Development leader to oversee the delivery of classroom and field-based training for all company products and systems. You will work with executive leadership to assess needs and develop programs that drive business outcomes.

You will manage a team of trainers and designers, ensure program quality within budgets, and explore innovative learning methods to enhance retention and performance across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 5 years of management experience.
• At least 10 years of training experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct outputs of Training and Development Center staff and contractors.
• Develop, manage, and direct all training programs for products, systems, and corporate training.
• Recruit and interview new training managers in collaboration with leadership.
• Coach and develop other training managers.
• Ensure program quality within budget constraints.
• Review budgets and re-plan to meet company expectations.
• Identify training needs with senior/executive management.
• Evaluate and implement training solutions and external resources.
• Oversee design of new training programs.
• Research learning methods to improve retention of knowledge and skills.
• Support process improvement and productivity gains across units.
