Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Senior Sales Director for OEM & Defense Primes to lead a high‑performing sales team across North America. You will drive design‑win revenue and manage the full B2B sales lifecycle from evaluation to MSAs and production orders.

This role requires deep domain knowledge in defense/public safety markets, a strong leadership track record, and willingness to travel up to 50% for field demonstrations and industry events.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales leadership experience in unmanned systems or defense/public safety tech.
• Proven ability to build and manage high‑performing field sales teams with multi‑million‑dollar quotas.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver annual order and revenue targets and long‑term production forecasts for the OEM and Defense Primes vertical across North America.
• Lead and develop the sales team; onboard new hires and provide ongoing coaching.
• Drive pipeline velocity, CRM discipline, and accurate forecasting for all deals in the vertical.
• Collaborate with Silvus engineering, product development, marketing, and business development to grow the business.
• Source, interview, and hire top-tier sales talent to maintain a high‑performing team.
• Address complex customer escalations and aid in major negotiations and closures.
• Translate company goals into actionable daily tasks for sales representatives.
• Travel up to 50% for customer site visits, demos, and industry events.
