Job summary

Transdev is seeking an experienced Safety and Operations leader to join the Operations and Safety Teams in supporting the Operations Management, Safety, and Director of Safety. You will manage KPIs, SLAs, safety strategies, and interface with client counterparts to ensure safety, EHS, and regulatory compliance.

Role focuses on improving safety performance, leading transformation initiatives, and driving education and process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of safety management and leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Safety or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Regional Management of Safety organization in the locations assigned.
• Directs leadership to develop a culture valuing safety and inclusion.
• Curate and present daily, weekly, and monthly business reports to client leaders and executives.
• Lead programs impacting EHS and regulatory compliance for transportation and workplace safety (OSHA).
• Develop and deploy process improvement techniques and tools; manage performance improvement.
• Develop metrics to coordinate with safety KPIs and lean metrics to show improvements.
• Diagnose problems and streamline processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Mentor peers and influence operational teams toward bottom-up decision making.
• Participate in client meetings to differentiate Transdev from competitors.
• Work with HR to identify root causes and reduce incidents.
• Other duties as required.
