Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Safety Leader to join the Operations and Safety Teams in the U.S. This role supports the Director of Safety by managing safety performance, KPIs, SLAs, and strategies while interfacing with client counterparts to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading safety programs, developing processes, and presenting performance metrics to executives. Requires a Bachelor’s in Safety Science and 5+ years of leadership in safety, ideally with AV/tech exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Safety-related field.
• 5+ years of Safety Management and leadership experience.
• Experience in tech/start-up/AV industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA federal and state laws.
• Background in Safety, EHS, Risk Management favored.

Responsibilities

• Regional Management of Safety organization in assigned locations.
• Leads leadership to build a culture of safety, inclusion, and engagement.
• Curate and present daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports to client leaders.
• Lead programs impacting EHS compliance for transportation and workplace safety (OSHA).
• Develop and deploy process improvement tools and KPI metrics to reduce incidents.
• Diagnose problems and streamline processes to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Mentor peers and empower teams to improve decision-making at all levels.
• Participate in client meetings to differentiate Transdev from competitors.
• Collaborate with HR to identify root causes of incidents.
