Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to join the Operations and Safety teams in the U.S. You will support safety performance initiatives, KPIs, and regulatory compliance across regions, interfacing with client counterparts to ensure EHS standards are met.

The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven reporting, and program deployment to improve safety and reduce incidents, with travel up to 50% and a focus on continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in safety management and leadership.
• Experience in tech, start-up, and/or AV industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and regulatory compliance.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Regional Management of Safety organization in assigned locations.
• Leads culture development prioritizing safety and inclusion.
• Curates and presents daily/weekly/monthly safety reports to client leaders.
• Leads programs impacting EHS and OSHA compliance.
• Develops process improvement tools and metrics for safety KPIs.
• Inserts lean metrics to demonstrate safety performance improvements.
• Diagnoses problems and streamlines processes to reduce waste.
• Mentors peers and promotes bottom-up decision making.
• Participates in client meetings to differentiate Transdev.
• Collaborates with HR to reduce workplace incidents.
• Other duties as required.
