Job summary

Transdev is seeking a senior Safety Manager to lead the Safety organization across regional operations. You will partner with Operations and the Director of Safety to enhance safety performance, develop KPIs, and ensure EHS compliance in transportation environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Safety Management, a strong OSHA background, and experience in tech/start-up/AV sectors. Expect 50% travel and a collaborative, data-driven improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in safety-related field.
• 5+ years of safety management and leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety laws.
• Knowledge of risk management and EHS processes.

Responsibilities

• Regional management of the Safety organization across locations.
• Lead culture of safety, inclusion, and employee engagement.
• Prepare and present daily/weekly safety reports to leaders.
• Implement EHS programs and regulatory compliance for transportation.
• Develop lean processes and KPIs to improve safety performance.
• Coach teams and drive bottom-up decision making.
• Participate in client meetings to differentiate Transdev.
• Identify root causes with HR to reduce incidents.
• Travel up to 50% as required.
