Job summary

Transdev is seeking a senior safety operations leader to manage safety programs across regions, driving EHS compliance and continuous improvement. The role interfaces with Operations and Safety teams to optimize KPIs, SLAs, and safety strategies while ensuring regulatory adherence.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of safety management experience, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills to mentor teams and influence leaders. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Safety, Safety Risk Management, Ergonomics, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Safety Management and leadership experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of Safety, EHS, Risk Management and OSHA regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Regional Management of Safety organization in assigned locations.
• Lead in developing a culture of safety, inclusion, and employee engagement.
• Curate and present daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports to client leaders and executives.
• Lead programs impacting EHS and regulatory compliance (OSHA).
• Develop and deploy process improvement techniques and tools; manage performance improvement.
• Create metrics to track safety KPIs and reduce workplace incidents.
• Diagnose problems and streamline processes to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Mentor peers and influence operational teams toward data-driven decisions.
• Participate in client meetings to differentiate Transdev.
• Collaborate with HR to address root causes of incidents.
