Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Senior Safety and Operations Leader to advance safety performance across our U.S. AV and transportation services. You will manage KPI development, regulatory compliance, and collaborate with client counterparts to drive EHS excellence.

This role requires 5+ years in safety management, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. Travel up to 50% and a compensation range of $109,000–$150,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Safety, Risk Management, Ergonomics, Logistics, Transportation, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant Safety Management and leadership experience.
• Experience in tech, start-up, and/or AV industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Safety, EHS, Risk Management and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Regional Management of Safety organization across assigned locations.
• Leads leadership and management to foster a culture valuing safety, inclusion, and employee engagement.
• Curates and presents daily, weekly, and monthly business reports to client leaders and executives.
• Leads programs impacting EHS and regulatory compliance for transportation and workplace safety (OSHA).
• Develops and deploys process improvement techniques and tools; manages performance improvement.
• Develops metrics to coordinate with safety KPIs and inserts lean metrics to show improvements.
• Diagnoses problems and streamlines processes to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Mentors peers and enables bottom-up decision-making and empowerment.
• Participates in client meetings to differentiate Transdev from competitors.
• Collaborates with HR to identify root causes and reduce workplace incidents.
• Other duties as required.
