Job summary

Austin Commercial seeks a Safety Manager for its Austin, Texas Division to lead site safety programs, educate staff on safety laws, and ensure compliance with the company safety manual. The role requires strong report writing, training, and collaboration with owners and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a current OSHA trainer certification, a safety or construction background, and proven communication and negotiation skills. This is a full-time on-site role with ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• OSHA 510 certification or equivalent, five years of GC experience or higher.
• Authorized OSHA 500 Trainer preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications current.
• SWPP knowledge and construction process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manages the site safety program on assigned project.
• Educates and trains staff on federal, state and local safety laws.
• Builds relationships with project staff and subcontractor safety reps.
• Creates safety reports and accident investigation documents.
• Represents the company with owners and subcontractors.
