Job summary

Austin Commercial seeks a Safety Manager for our Southeast Division in Orlando, FL. This on-site role will manage the site safety program, train staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards across projects.

You will lead safety reporting, conduct training sessions, and collaborate with subcontractors to maintain a strong safety culture at the Orlando site. Join an ESOP-owned, growth-focused construction leader.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years safety experience in construction industry.
• Authorized OSHA 500 Trainer.
• CPR and First Aid certifications current.
• SWPPP knowledge.
• Safety certification from an accredited organization (e.g., BCSP).
• Proficient in relevant safety software and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manages the site safety program on assigned project.
• Educates and trains project staff on federal, state, and local safety laws.
• Builds relationships with project staff and subcontractors for safety.
• Creates safety reports and accident investigation documents.
• Provides staff safety training and subcontractor development; strong presentation skills.
• Represents the company positively with owner and subcontractors.
