Job summary

Transdev is seeking an experienced Safety Operations Leader in Phoenix, AZ to drive safety performance across a multi-site organization. You will manage, develop, and improve safety KPIs, SLAs, and compliance with state and federal laws, collaborating with Operations and HR to reduce incidents and strengthen a safety culture.

The role requires 5+ years in Safety Management, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of OSHA standards, with broad exposure to transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science, Safety Risk Management, Ergonomics, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Safety Management and leadership experience required.
• Experience in tech, start-up, and/or AV industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Safety, EHS, Risk Management and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Regional Management of Safety organization across locations.
• Lead culture of safety, inclusion, and employee engagement.
• Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly safety reports to client leaders and executives.
• Lead programs affecting EHS and regulatory compliance (OSHA).
• Develop and deploy process improvement techniques and lean metrics for safety improvements.
• Identify root causes and reduce workplace incidents in collaboration with HR.
• Mentor teams and enable bottom-up decision making.
