Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Senior Safety Manager in the Chicago area to join the Operations and Safety Teams. You will support the Director of Safety and manage safety performance, KPIs, SLAs, and EHS compliance across regions while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have 5+ years in safety management, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong knowledge of OSHA regulations. Travel about half the time is required; the role offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Safety-related fields.
• 5+ years of safety management and leadership experience.
• Experience with OSHA laws and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Regional management of Safety organization across locations.
• Present daily/weekly/monthly safety reports to client leaders.
• Lead programs impacting EHS and regulatory compliance (OSHA).
• Develop process improvements and lean metrics for safety performance.
• Coach teams to reduce workplace incidents and improve safety culture.
