Job summary

Ford Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer, Occupational Safety, to act as the site safety SME, develop innovative hazard controls, and ensure timely safety compliance across the plant.

Responsibilities include leading SOS implementation, emergency planning, safety training, and guiding team members to improve safety programs while traveling as needed and supporting a broad safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OH&S, Safety/Health Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of occupational safety experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Master’s degree and/or professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Safety Operating System (SOS) and site safety processes.
• Direct projects to continuously improve occupational safety programs.
