Job summary

Ford Energy is seeking a safety-focused Occupational Health & Safety professional to lead plant-wide safety programs and risk management across U.S. locations.

The role emphasizes implementing the Safety Operating System, audits, training, and cross-functional collaboration to prevent injuries and ensure regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have a OH&S degree (or 5+ years’ experience) and are prepared for varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in OH&S or related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and the 14 elements of PSM.
• Ability to lift 10–25 lbs and walk/stand during shifts.
• Available to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Implement plant-wide safety processes including SOS and training.
• Lead inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Support launch activities for new projects and guide engineers.
• Coordinate accident investigations with cross-functional leaders.
• Develop training programs to prevent injuries and hazards.
• Lead safety projects with auditors and external consultants.
