Job summary

Ford Energy seeks a Senior Engineer, Occupational Safety, to act as the site safety SME, developing innovative solutions for hazard control, compliance, and risk management. You will work on SOS implementation and lead safety initiatives across the plant to improve programs and safety outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Safety-related field with 4+ years of experience, travel as needed, and the ability to work various shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of occupational safety work experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Able to lift 10–25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must be available to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Safety Operating System (SOS) and plant-wide safety processes including emergency response planning and safety training.
• Lead safety projects and guide team members to continually improve occupational safety programs.
