Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• 5+ years of safety management and compliance experience in manufacturing or consulting industry.
• Basic knowledge of environmental requirements within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and collaborating effectively across boundaries.
• Critical thinking, decision-making, and project management skills.
• Experience using data analytics and Power BI for metrics and reporting.
• Proven ability to establish positive relationships with regulatory staff and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 10%.
• Capable of wearing PPE as needed.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategically enhance Safety Management Systems and processes to reduce loss and risk.
• Drive team development and enterprise-wide compliance.
• Lead or participate in projects, provide insights and risk abatement recommendations.
• Conduct formal risk assessments and integrate results into plans and budgets.
• Lead or support complex investigations, inspections, and litigation support.
• Serve as the Richmond area facility safety engineer and manage safety programs on site.
