The candidate will bring a Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety & Health, 5+ years of safety management experience in manufacturing or consulting, CSP preferred, and a willingness to travel 10%. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• 5+ years of safety management and compliance experience in manufacturing or consulting industry.
• Experience with Power BI for performance metrics.
• Willing to travel 10%.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Responsibilities

• Strategically enhance Safety Management Systems and related processes to reduce loss and risk across the business.
• Drives team development and ensures regulatory compliance across operating companies.
• Leads or participates in projects, prepares justifications, scopes and budgets; identifies vendors/consultants.
• Conducts formal risk assessments and translates results into plans and budgets.
• Lead or support complex investigations, regulatory inspections, and litigation support.
• Serve as the Richmond facility safety engineer and manage safety programs onsite.
