Micron Technology in Boise is seeking a safety professional to lead and implement safety programs across construction and industrial environments. You will review designs for safety by design, perform hazard analyses, and develop procedures that protect workers and property.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, site audits, on-call responses to emergencies, and the use of AI-enabled workflows to improve EHS performance. A BS in a relevant field and CSP/CIH are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Safety or Industrial Hygiene preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple disciplines in a complex environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience managing small to medium projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support Safety Management System across construction and industrial environments.
• Review building and system designs for safety by design and best known methods.
• Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to protect workers and property.
• Coordinate safety inspections and audits; respond to emergencies on on-call schedule.
• Develop AI-enabled safety workflows and analyze safety data to identify trends and risks.
