Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Safety Engineer to support the Safety Management System across construction and industrial environments. You will review designs for safety-by-design, perform hazard analyses, and develop safety programs to protect workers and assets.

The role requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lead small to medium projects. CSP or CIH is preferred; B.S. or higher in a safety-related field is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Safety or Industrial Hygiene preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple disciplines in a complex environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with team members, customers, and management.
• Experience managing small to medium projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Good organizational and computer skills.
• Ability to self-motivate with minimal supervision.
• CSP or CIH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Safety Management System across construction and industrial environments.
• Review designs for compliance and safety-by-design methods.
• Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Develop and improve safety programs and procedures to ensure worker safety.
• Evaluate operations for regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates.
• Develop and conduct safety training.
• Plan and perform site safety audits with area personnel.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections.
• Respond as safety officer to emergencies on-call.
• Investigate accidents and unplanned events.
• Collect and communicate safety metrics to site management.
• Support continuous improvement of the OH&S management system.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows and automation to improve productivity in EHS.
• Leverage AI to analyze safety data, identify trends, and support risk reduction.
