Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc in Boise, ID seeks an experienced Global EHS Principle Safety Engineer to lead enterprise-wide health & safety programs and governance. You will drive roadmap development, performance management, and digital enablement across a global portfolio.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate strategy into scalable programs and measurable outcomes using data and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in EHS, operational safety, risk management, or related fields.
• Expertise in safety performance management, metrics, data quality, trends, and reporting.
• Experience leading complex, multi-functional programs or portfolios with governance.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global Health & Safety portfolio and multi-year roadmap, including prioritization and executive reporting.
• Lead enterprise H&S performance management framework with governance and target setting.
• Establish global governance for safety indicators, data quality, and reporting consistency.
• Partner with engineers, EHS, IT, and business leaders to translate strategy into scalable programs.
• Analyze safety, incident, audit, and operational data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Own the roadmap for digital solutions supporting H&S, including dashboards and Power Platform tools.
• Collaborate with the Global EHS PMO to ensure portfolio execution and governance compliance.
• Build capability through technical leadership, standards, and advanced analytics/AI-enabled tooling.
