Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Safety/HR Coordinator II to coordinate and supervise safety programs at our Cedar Hill, Texas facility.

You will inspect operations for safe practices, lead new-hire safety training, and chair the Safety Committee while maintaining OSHA records and compliance. The role requires 2–4 years in safety or woodworking operations, plus computer proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and OSHA 10 certification along with First Aid/CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
• 2–4 years of safety or woodworking operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise facility safety programs and initiatives.
• Inspect operations for safe practices and PPE use.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, identify root causes.
• Lead safety trainings for new hires and employees.
• Chairs Safety Committee and maintains OSHA logs.
• Ensure CPR/first aid inventory and training readiness.
• Maintain records and reports for OSHA 300 and regulatory agencies.
