Qualifikationen

• Minimum high school graduate.
• 0–2 years of experience in safety or woodworking operations.
• Proficiency with computer and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• First Aid/CPR training preferred; familiarity with OSHA/DOT regulations is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Regularly inspects facility operations to ensure safe practices and proper use of PPE and guarding.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses; identifies trends and implements corrective actions.
• Trains new hires on safety practices, machine operation, and policies.
• Chairs the Safety Committee and coordinates safety programs and incentives as appropriate.
• Maintains OSHA 300 log and other required reports; prepares regular and special reports.
• Coordinates fire inspection tours and monitoring of hearing conservation program.
