Samsara is seeking a Sr. Manager of Machine Learning to lead the Safety AI team. You will direct the architecture for on-device and cloud safety systems, integrating camera, IMU, GPS, and vehicle data to deliver high-precision safety events.

You will own the full model lifecycle and guide a team of scientists and engineers toward real-world impact. The role is remote within the United States, with travel up to 5% and relocation assistance not provided.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in applied ML or computer vision and shipping models to production.
• Experience leading technical teams of scientists and engineers.
• Strong background in fusing camera, IMU, GPS, and telemetry data in production environments.

• Drive the architectural direction for on-device and cloud Safety AI systems.
• Lead end-to-end ML lifecycle from data curation to deployment and monitoring.
