Job summary

Samsara is hiring a Senior Manager of Machine Learning to lead the Safety AI team building end-to-end computer vision and ML for real-world dash cameras. You will own the model lifecycle from data to deployment across edge and cloud, with a focus on safety events and low-latency performance, across fleet-scale deployments.

You’ll partner with firmware, full-stack, and Platform teams, drive architectural decisions, and mentor a team of scientists and engineers to deliver high-impact features

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in applied ML or computer vision.
• 5+ years leading technical teams of scientists and engineers.
• Experience shipping CV and/or sensor fusion systems to production.
• Ability to balance platform scale and research velocity; communicate trade-offs clearly.
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
