Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Release Train Engineer to lead the Agile Release Train (ART) and enable successful delivery of major business and technology initiatives. You will drive program execution, manage dependencies and risks, and provide executive-ready reporting on PI objectives and delivery health.

As a servant leader, you will collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and continuous improvement across the ART.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 12+ years in Program Management, Agile Delivery, or related leadership roles.
• 4+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading Scrum Masters and Outside Service Workers.
• 5+ years supporting Agile Release Trains or large-scale Agile delivery.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe, Lean-Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methods.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Power BI; enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead ART ceremonies including PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt.
• Drive execution of cross-functional initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
• Align portfolio priorities, roadmaps, capacity, and delivery execution.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and impediments; escalate as needed.
• Provide executive-ready reporting on program health, PI objectives, and value realization.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Portfolio, and Delivery teams for alignment.
• Foster Lean-Agile practices and continuous improvement across the ART.
• Support adoption of Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
• Support enterprise transformation through Agile coaching and change enablement.
