Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Release Train Engineer to enable successful delivery across the Agile Release Train (ART). The role leads ceremonies, aligns teams to enterprise priorities, and drives program execution for strategic initiatives.

You will partner with Product Management, Architecture, and Delivery Teams to ensure transparency, manage risks, and deliver value. A strong SAFe/Lean-Agile background and executive communication are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; Master's preferred.
12+ years in program management or agile delivery leadership.
4+ years people management experience.
Experience leading SAFe agile release trains and enterprise delivery.
Strong communication and executive stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate ART ceremonies including PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt.
Drive execution of complex cross-functional initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Ensure alignment between portfolio priorities, roadmaps, capacity, and delivery execution.
Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and impediments.
Provide executive-ready reporting on program health and value realization.
Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Portfolio Management and Delivery Teams.
Foster Lean-Agile practices and continuous improvement across the ART.
Enable adoption of Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
Support enterprise transformation through Agile coaching and change enablement.
