Job summary

McKesson Corporation is seeking a seasoned Release Train Engineer to lead an Agile Release Train and drive program delivery across multiple teams in a healthcare enablement environment. You will coordinate PI Planning, track risks, and deliver executive insights to leadership.

The role requires 12+ years in program management and strong SAFe / Lean-Agile knowledge, with hands-on experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 12+ years in Program Management, Agile Delivery, Enterprise Transformation, or related leadership roles.
• 4+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading Scrum Masters and Outside Service Workers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train ceremonies (PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt).
• Drive execution of complex cross-functional initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure alignment between portfolio priorities, roadmaps, capacity, and delivery.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and impediments; escalate as needed.
• Provide executive-ready reporting on program health, PI objectives, delivery predictability, and value realization.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Portfolio Management, and Delivery Teams for alignment.
• Foster Lean-Agile practices and continuous improvement across the ART.
• Enable adoption of Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
