Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to serve as the servant leader and chief Scrum Master for an Agile Release Train (ART). The ideal candidate will have a strong SAFe background and proven coordination across multiple teams and time zones.

You will drive PI planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops, ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAFe practices and PI planning.
• Excellent facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong communication across multiple organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, Scrum of Scrums, PO Sync, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Drive execution of the Agile Release Train and ensure alignment between business objectives and delivery teams.
• Track dependencies, risks, issues, impediments, and blockers impacting train delivery; Escalate as needed.
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams on SAFe practices and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, program managers, and senior leadership for visibility into program health.
