Job summary

Changeis, Inc. seeks an experienced Release Train Engineer to operate within a mature SAFe Agile structure for an existing client.

The role requires 6+ years of experience with technical teams and a SAFe RTE certification, and involves refining software processes, managing risks, and driving program-level backlog decisions. You will coach the ART, collaborate with Product Management and System Architects, and sponsor continuous improvement while communicating status and risks to senior

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer, Product Owner, Product Manager, or Scrum Master with interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Must have SAFe Agile RTE Certification.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe Agile methodologies and IT concepts.
• Excellent facilitation for PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, and SAFe ceremonies.
• Problem-solving skills and mediation abilities.
• Clear communication and ability to teach complex concepts.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Commitment to transparency and collaborative culture.
• Familiarity with Jira, Miro, Trello; proficient with Confluence, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Help teams, stakeholders, and leadership understand SAFe values and drive adoption.
• Ensure goals, scope, and solution are understood by everyone on the ART.
• Facilitate SAFe routines including PI Planning and ART Sync.
• Coach the ART in collaboration, self-organization, prioritization, accountability, and visibility.
• Manage the ART backlog with Product Management and System Architects.
• Help stakeholders understand the need for a clear program-level backlog.
• Assist others outside the ART to interact effectively with teams.
• Remove impediments and encourage change to increase productivity.
• Lead dashboards and metrics discussions in retrospectives; own the Agile lifecycle tool.
