Coupa in the United States is seeking a Collections Associate to manage a global customer portfolio and drive timely receivables while maintaining professional relationships. This individual-contributor role fits a collections professional with SaaS, FMCG, or financial services background and exposure to senior sales management.

You will engage customers by phone, email, and video, coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Deal Desk, and contribute to forecasting and close processes.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of collections experience in SaaS, FMCG, or Financial Services.
• Experience engaging at senior sales management levels to resolve issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a complex, high-value portfolio independently.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of high‑value accounts, driving end‑to‑end collections.
• Proactively contact customers by phone, email, and video to resolve overdue balances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Deal Desk to resolve billing issues.
• Escalate with sales leadership for high‑risk or high‑value accounts.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, aging reports, and cash application records.
• Identify process improvements to reduce DSO and bad debt exposure.
• Utilize Oracle and Tesorio to track status and report portfolio health.
• Support month‑ and quarter‑end close for accounts receivable.
