Job summary

Neumo seeks a SaaS Accounts Receivable Collections Lead to oversee aging portfolio, optimize cash flow and reduce DSO for enterprise and mid-market accounts. You will design collection SOPs and manage escalations while preserving customer relationships.

In this role you will collaborate with account executives, customer success, and legal teams to remove collection barriers and support revenue expansion. Onsite in Centreville, VA, typical hours 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate B2B collections experience, with SaaS or subscription software background.
• Experience with mid-market and enterprise procurement systems (Coupa, Ariba).
• Strong proficiency in ERPs and billing systems (NetSuite, Sage Intaact, Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Strategy Execution: Design and execute SOPs for the collections lifecycle and optimize dunning sequences.
• Escalation Management: Lead complex, high-value past-due enterprise accounts and negotiate payment plans.
• Metrics & Reporting: Monitor DSO, aging buckets, and bad debt reserves for leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Legal to remove barriers.

SaaS Accounts Receivable Collections Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-performing SaaS Accounts Receivable Collections Lead to oversee our aging portfolio, optimize cash flow, and lead collection strategies tailored to a recurring revenue model. This role balances maintaining strong customer relationships with minimizing churn and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for enterprise and mid-market accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Execution: Design and execute standard operating procedures for the collections lifecycle, optimizing automated dunning sequences alongside high-touch personal outreach.
• Escalation Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for complex, high-value past-due enterprise accounts, negotiating structured payment plans when necessary.
• Metrics & Reporting: Monitor and report weekly/monthly updates on collection metrics, including DSO, Aging Bucket migrations, and bad debt reserves to finance leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Legal teams to resolve collection barriers without jeopardizing account expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate B2B collections experience, with at least 2+ years specifically within a SaaS or subscription software environment.
• Deep familiarity with mid-market and enterprise procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, Ariba).
• Strong proficiency in ERPs and specialized billing systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intaact, Salesforce).
