Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products seeks a Senior Superintendent for Sales & Operations Planning to lead the monthly S&OP process, turning demand plans into actionable production and supply plans across the Roofing network. You will guide a planners team, align capacity, inventory, and service goals, and present recommendations to senior leadership.

You will drive cross-functional planning, optimize capacity, and oversee production scheduling across multiple facilities, ensuring on-time delivery

Qualifications

8–10 years in production planning, supply planning, or S&OP.
3–5 years of leadership experience managing planners or teams.
Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
Strong background in production planning and manufacturing operations.
Experience with SAP or JD Edwards ERP systems.
Experience leading formal S&OP processes.
Multi-site manufacturing planning experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly S&OP process, including Supply Review and Executive S&OP meetings.
Translate rolling demand forecasts into executable manufacturing and supply plans.
Develop and maintain a rolling 6 to 18 month supply plan supporting business objectives.
Facilitate cross-functional discussions regarding demand changes, supply constraints, inventory strategies, and capacity utilization.
Prepare executive presentations and recommendations for senior leadership review.
Drive continuous improvement of S&OP processes, governance, and planning maturity.
Develop production plans across multiple facilities to meet forecasted and actual demand.
Convert approved demand plans into manufacturing schedules and production requirements.
Ensure production plans align with available labor, machine capacity, material, and warehouse needs.
Collaborate with plant leadership to balance capacity, inventory, and service levels.
Review plant constraints and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
Create and manage production orders within ERP systems.
Monitor schedule attainment and production plan adherence across facilities.
Lead monthly supply reviews with manufacturing teams.
Maintain capacity models and analyze bottlenecks across sites.
Develop recommendations to improve capacity utilization and production efficiencies.
Establish inventory stocking strategies and define inventory parameters.
Balance inventory investment with service level goals and constraints.
Monitor KPIs and provide corrective actions with leadership.
