Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking an experienced Superintendent of S&OP to lead the monthly planning process across ten facilities and multiple distribution locations. You will align demand with supply, capacity, inventory, and production resources to meet service and efficiency goals.

You will oversee production and supply planning, capacity planning, and inventory deployment, working with Manufacturing, Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, and Sales to optimize plans and plant

Qualifications

8–10 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, manufacturing planning, or S&OP.
3–5 years of leadership experience managing planners or supply chain teams.
Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
Strong background in production planning and manufacturing operations.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly S&OP process, including Supply Review and Executive S&OP meetings.
Translate rolling demand forecasts into executable manufacturing and supply plans.
Develop and maintain a rolling 6 to 18-month supply plan.
Facilitate cross-functional discussions on demand, constraints, inventory, and capacity.
Prepare executive presentations for senior leadership review.
Drive continuous improvement of S&OP processes and planning maturity.
Create and manage production orders within ERP systems.
Monitor schedule attainment and adherence across facilities.
