Job summary

Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions is seeking a Superintendent, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to lead the monthly S&OP process and translate demand plans into executable production and supply plans across the roofing manufacturing network.

You will oversee a team of planners supporting multiple facilities and align demand, supply, capacity, and inventory to achieve service and efficiency goals.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, manufacturing planning, or S&OP.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience managing planners or supply chain teams.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards.
• Experience leading formal S&OP processes.
• Multi-site manufacturing planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly S&OP process, including Supply Review and Executive S&OP meetings.
• Translate rolling demand forecasts into executable manufacturing and supply plans.
• Develop and maintain a rolling 6 to 18-month supply plan supporting business objectives.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions regarding demand changes, supply constraints, inventory strategies, and capacity utilization.
• Prepare executive presentations and recommendations for senior leadership review.
• Drive continuous improvement of S&OP processes, governance, and planning maturity.
• Develop production plans across multiple manufacturing facilities to meet forecasted and actual customer demand.
• Convert approved demand plans into manufacturing schedules and production requirements.
• Ensure production plans align with available labor, machine capacity, material availability, and warehouse requirements.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to balance capacity, inventory levels, and customer service requirements.
• Review plant constraints and develop mitigation strategies to minimize service disruptions.
• Create and manage production orders within ERP systems.
• Monitor schedule attainment and production plan adherence across manufacturing facilities.
• Lead monthly supply reviews with manufacturing teams.
