Job summary
Westlake Chemical seeks a Superintendent, Sales & S&OP to lead the monthly S&OP process and translate demand into production and supply plans across its roofing manufacturing network. You will guide a team supporting multiple facilities, aligning demand, supply, capacity, and inventory to meet service and efficiency goals.
You will oversee production and supply planning, capacity modeling, and inventory deployment, working with cross-functional teams to optimize plans and mitigate disruptions.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, manufacturing planning, or S&OP.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience managing planners or supply chain teams.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly S&OP process, including Supply Review and Executive S&OP meetings.
- Develop production plans across multiple facilities to meet forecasted demand.
- Convert demand plans into manufacturing schedules and requirements.
- Manage capacity, inventory levels, and labor to optimize service and efficiency.
- Monitor performance metrics and improve planning maturity across locations.
- Coach planners and standardize planning processes across sites.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, Sales and Operations teams.
