Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a Superintendent, S&OP to lead the monthly S&OP process and translate demand plans into executable production and supply plans across the Roofing manufacturing network. You will manage a team of planners supporting multiple facilities and align demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and production resources to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, manufacturing planning, or S&OP.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience managing planners or supply chain teams.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly S&OP process, including Supply Review and Executive S&OP meetings.
• Translate rolling demand forecasts into executable manufacturing and supply plans.
• Develop a rolling 6 to 18-month supply plan.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions regarding demand changes, supply constraints, inventory strategies, and capacity utilization.
• Prepare executive presentations and recommendations for senior leadership review.
• Drive continuous improvement of S&OP processes, governance, and planning maturity.
• Develop production plans across multiple facilities to meet forecasted and actual demand.
• Create and manage production orders within ERP systems.
• Monitor schedule attainment and production plan adherence across facilities.
• Lead monthly supply reviews with manufacturing teams.
