Job summary

Cytel Inc. in Kentucky seeks a senior data analytics scientist to support Epidemiology by preparing Real World data, advising on analytic strategies, and supporting stakeholders in various epidemiology analytic activities.

You will program and conduct statistical analyses using SQL, SAS or R, develop data standards, and create analytic databases. Collaboration with internal/external stakeholders and presenting results are key expectations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in epidemiology/biostatistics/related field and 5+ years RWE analytics experience.
• Proficient in SQL; SAS or R proficiency required.
• Deep expertise with RWD sources: Optum Clinformatics, Truveta, UK Biobank; trial/registry data desirable.
• Relational databases and claims data familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans using large RWD (Claims/EHR).
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain relevant data extracts for studies.
• Create analytic databases from data extracts to enable analyses.
• Conduct analyses per study protocols and analysis plans.
• Produce tables/figures for investigators, clients, and study reports.
