Job summary

Cytel Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Epidemiology/Data Analyst to support Real World Data analyses, study design, and data standardization across observational research.

You will program analyses, create analytic databases, produce tables/figures, and present results to investigators and clients. Requires MS/PhD and 5+ years of RWE analytics; strong SQL, SAS or R, and expertise with Optum Clinformatics, Truveta, UK Biobank.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in related field and 5+ years of RWE analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL; SAS or R required.
• Deep expertise analyzing RWE sources such as Optum Clinformatics Datamart, Truveta, UK Biobank.
• Relational databases and claims data layout understanding.
• Experience with regression, survival, and propensity weighting methods.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Epidemiology team by preparing Real World data and advising on analytic strategies.
• Program and conduct statistical analyses, including data coding and creation of algorithms.
• Create analytical databases from data extracts to facilitate analyses.
• Produce tables and figures for discussions with investigators, clients, and study reports.
• Present results internally and to clients; assist in study reports and deliverables.
• Possibly assume supervisory responsibilities in the future.
