Job summary

Cytel is seeking an experienced epidemiologist/biostatistician to support the Epidemiology team with Real World Data (RWD) analytics. You will design analysis plans, integrate data from Clinformatics Datamart, Truveta, and UK Biobank, and generate tables/figures for study reports.

You will collaborate with internal/external stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and apply advanced statistical methods including regression, survival analyses, and propensity weighting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in related field (epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, economics) and 5+ years of RWE analytics experience
• Proficiency in SQL; SAS or R proficiency required
• Deep expertise analyzing RWE data sources such as Clinformatics Datamart and Truveta, UK Biobank
• Relational databases familiarity and understanding of claims data layouts
• Experience with regression analyses, survival analyses, and propensity weighting
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans using large RWD sources
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain relevant data extracts for research studies
• Create analytical databases from data extracts to facilitate conduct of data analyses
• Conduct analyses per study protocols and analysis plans
• Produce tables and figures for discussions with investigators, clients, and study reports
• Present results internally and to clients
• Assist in preparation of study reports and other deliverables
• May have supervisory responsibilities in the future
