Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking an experienced Analyst to support the Epidemiology team with Real World Data (RWD) and analytics.

You will program and conduct statistical analyses under supervision, create datasets, and develop methods for data standardization and reporting of observational data. Responsibilities include liaising with data vendors, producing study outputs, and presenting results to investigators and clients.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in a related field with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience.
• SQL proficiency is a must; SAS or R proficiency required.
• Deep expertise analyzing RWE data sources such as Optum Clinformatics, Truveta and UK Biobank.
• Familiarity with relational databases and layout of claims/ancillary files.
• Experience with regression, survival, Cox, GLM/GEE and propensity weighting.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Epidemiology team by preparing Real World data and advising analyses.
• Program and conduct statistical analyses, including data coding and algorithm creation.
• Support data standardization, visualization, and reporting of observational data.
• Support Medical Affairs, Global Patient Safety, and Clinical Development activities.
• Partner with Epidemiologists to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Prioritize work across multiple projects and deliver timely results.
• Communicate clearly to ensure successful project delivery.
• Solve technical problems using experience and expertise.
