Job summary

Cytel is seeking a senior epidemiology analyst to advance real-world data analyses using large claims and EHR sources. You will partner with epidemiologists to design studies, develop analytic databases, and deliver results to clients.

We value deep expertise in RWE sources (Optum, Truveta, UK Biobank) and strong SQL with SAS or R. You’ll contribute to regulatory and safety documentation and may supervise junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience.
• Proficiency in SQL; SAS or R required.
• Experience with real-world data sources (claims/EHR) and data linkage.
• Strong statistics knowledge and applied methods for survival and regression analyses.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Support Epidemiology team by preparing real-world data and advising analytic strategies.
• Program and conduct statistical analyses with datasets and algorithms.
• Create analytic databases and produce tables/figures for studies and reports.
• Present results to investigators and clients; assist in study reports.
• May have supervisory responsibilities in the future.
