Job summary

Narvar is seeking a senior Rust engineer to bring Rust into the backbone of our highly scalable platform. This remote role in Canada focuses on correctness, performance, and reliability, with ownership from architecture through rollout and operations.

You will design high-quality Rust services, work across a polyglot stack, and mentor others while maintaining safety guarantees and observability. EST/EDT or PDT/PST hours are supported, with fully remote work.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Rust experience in production
• Built distributed systems with strong concurrency
• Experience with APIs and data contracts evolution
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience deploying services in cloud (AWS/GCP)

• Design and build high-correctness Rust services on critical paths
