Job summary

Narvar Inc. is seeking senior Rust engineers to bring correctness, performance, and reliability to the core platform. This fully remote role prefers candidates located in Canada and comfortable with EST/EDT or PDT/PST hours.

As part of a polyglot team, you’ll design and operate high-correctness Rust services, own systems end-to-end, and shape architecture while mentoring others. You’ll collaborate across product, design, and frontend to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on Rust experience in production systems.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems.
• Experience deploying services in AWS or GCP and working with relational/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-correctness Rust services on critical platform paths.
• Own systems from architecture → implementation → rollout → operations.
• Improve reliability, observability, and system behavior through principled design.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar on system quality and ownership.
