Job summary

Percheron LLC in Texas seeks a Sr. Right of Way Agent to lead title, permitting, acquisition, and documentation for construction projects, applying strong knowledge of land rights, valuation, and alignment sheets.

You will negotiate land leases and easements, review permits, conduct title research, coordinate with landowners, and prepare detailed reports. The role is field‑heavy but also office‑based, requiring independent judgment and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the Right of Way industry.
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations and ROW policies.
• Knowledge of settlement instruments and contract terms.
• Experience with land title research.
• Ability to complete ROW transactions independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate, and elect to lease land for ROW projects.
• Identify land ownership interests and permit requirements; acquire permits as directed.
• Oversee land-related legal issues including titles and deeds.
• Prepare reports on complex negotiations for easements and permits.
• Conduct due diligence to ensure accuracy of land rights.
• Liaise with landowners on ownership, easement rights, and access issues.
• Review third-party development plans for ROW conflicts.
• Maintain status updates with ROW agents or project managers.
• Work in office or field as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
